187,000-square-foot Walmart opens

Today is the opening of the Lighthouse Village Walmart. The 187,000-square-foot store at 4380 Leavitt Road opens at 7:30 a.m. and will be open 24 hours a day, according to Robert Moore, store manager.

A hair and nail salon are scheduled to open today, and a U.S. Bank branch will open inside the store in about two weeks, Moore said.
