SPRINGDALE — Three Northwest Arkansas Boys and Girls Clubs will get money from a $7.8 million donation the Walmart Foundation announced Wednesday.
The donation is spread among summer feeding programs and food banks in 10 states where children are most at risk of hunger.
Arkansas is not on the list of hungry states, but the Bentonville chapter of the Benton County Boys and Girls Club, the Boys and Girls Club of Western Benton County in Siloam Springs and the Donald W. Reynolds Boys and Girls Club in Fayetteville will get money, said Deisha Galberth, Walmart spokeswoman.
