In an effort to help our customers save money and live better, for the 2009 tax season, the Walmart Foundation, United Way, and One Economy have teamed up to provide free tax preparation and filing services to eligible taxpayers nationwide and educate them about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), a refundable federal income tax credit for low- to moderate-income individuals and families. The Walmart Foundation is supplying a $3.6 million grant to launch the first-ever free mobile tax filing tour funded by a national retailer. | read more
