Helping Veterans Launch Businesses

Two new programs aim to help military veterans take up entrepreneurship.

SCORE announced this week it is now accepting applications for “Veterans Fast Launch,” an initiative that will provide veterans – plus members of their immediately family — with free resources for starting businesses, such as computer software, training and mentorship. The Walmart Foundation, a primary sponsor, will also give scholarships to participants for SCORE’s “Simple Steps for Starting Your Business” series.
