Utah Food Bank asks for votes in Walmart contest
December 30th, 2010 | Uncategorized Source: The Salt Lake Tribune [UT]The Utah Food Bank in Salt Lake City has moved into second place in an online contest that could net the agency $1 million if the votes keep coming in.
Walmart’s “Fighting Hunger Together” Facebook campaign currently ranks Salt Lake City as No. 2 and Ogden as No. 5 in the contest, which asks residents to cast votes for any one of 100 communities where hunger rates are highest.
As of midday Wednesday, Fresno was in first place.
